Entire 6-page letter written in Charles Manson's hand from 1979. Note the 15 cent stamp! 
 
This is a very early letter as most people who were even thinking about collecting or are still around today might not even have been born yet. Clearly people have found writing to inmates of an interest for hundreds of years - and for a myriad of reasons.
 
Manson's signature is BOLD here and if you look closely it is signed, "Easy Charles Manson" - which is sort of on the rarer side. Within our vast trove of letters we see "C. Manson" or "Easy Manson" or "EZ C. Manson" far more often. 
 
These pages are dark blue ink on 8.5"x11" yellow paper. The envelope is blue ink as well.
 
The address was included because it is a PO Box and presumed long since closed. Normally we do not include full addresses unless they are PO Boxes and have aged more than 3-4 decades - and this meets both of those criteria.

Manson letters usually are about $100 per page (shipped) in the hobby. This depends on length, signature, date, and legibilty (which is always an issue with Manson). This letter is very legible for any Manson letter.
