Bible:  Aileen signed 2x on the front of this Bible and at least 4x on the rear cover page alone. If you blow up the page and  study the margins carefully - you will see printed versions, funny versions, and signed versions. Her name appears in various places throughout the book. 
 
Anyone who has seen a single Wuornos letter knows this is authentic. This is a one-of-a-kind find for a true crime fan of the most famous American female serial killer of modern times.
 
This bible is leather bound, all pages are intact, albeit some are "cut" on fringe margins. The spine has clearly lost some rigidity but it holds the pages well. Edge wear is as seen and in good to fair condition. Interior pages are all in good to average condition. Off white pages.
 
Aileen owned this bible for the most of time she was incarcerated, we know this from the date she places on the early pages. Given how God-Fearing she was, this Bible was likely in her possession all the time. There are not enough pictures allowed to account for all of the writing, marks, etc. It is simply amazing in person.

7" wide, 10.25" high and 1.75" in thickness. 
 
The amount of words, pages that are written on, annotations, odd phrases, and whatever else you can imagine are probably in here. There are drawings on the back cover page as well. Some tiny doodles, heavy ink markings for easy finding, even clip outs of some pages (not the entire page, just odd places) to probably make it easier for her to reach the passages that meant something. Annotations abound.
 
How was this obtained?
 
This was obtained directly from Dawn Botkins about 8-10 years ago. Prior to all of the letters entering the hobby, many of the most prized possessions of Wuornos were sold by Botkins to various collectors. Botkins was friendly and was warned of the need to limit the amount of letters in the hobby rather than selling mass amounts, which would reduce their rarity. Botkins did not heed out advice and thus the market was saturated with letters.
